Conditions of service

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel (and refund) orders for any reason. The following actions will result in a lifetime ban:

  1. Rude communication.
  2. Attempts at fraud.
  3. Dishonest reviews.

We currently only ship within the United States.

Pricing

Prices may change, without notice, at any time. Prices may differ between platforms as our costs depend on the sales platform. We do not typically haggle or provide volume discounts, but feel free to ask. We love trading plants!

Substitutions and deletions

In rare cases, we may remove an item from your order. If this happens, we had an inventory error or a product is unsellable. We may substitute, within reason, a plant smaller than the one you purchased. In both of these cases, you will get a partial refund. We will typically contact you for approval before we change your order. We will never substitute for a different species.

If you do not want any substitutions or deletions, please let us know in the comment field when you place an order.

Shipping

Shipping prices are based on your order subtotal. Shipping options are mostly limited to those shown during checkout. We currently use USPS Priority Mail. If you need an alternative form of shipping, please contact us.

We typically ship orders at the beginning of each week. We are not responsible for delivery delays. We reserve the right to place an order on hold for any reason. Most often this means weather forecasts for your area are poor, shipping costs are higher than shipping price shown during checkout, or holiday delays. We will contact you if we need more information to process your order. If you do not respond, your order may be cancelled.

Plants are shipped bare root.

During winter months, we recommend you add a heat pack to your order, which you can do during checkout.

Refunds and returns

Refunds and returns are entirely at our discretion and must be initiated within 7 days of receiving the order by contacting us via email. We may opt to exchange products instead. Refunds and returns will generally only be accepted for one of the following reasons:

  1. One or more products arrive dead or damaged.
  2. You receive an incorrect product, i.e. the product does not approximately match the product image on the website.
  3. Your order is lost during shipping.

We make every effort to ensure our plants are correctly identified. If a plant you receive is incorrectly identified, please let us know.

If you do not add a heat pack to your order, and overnight lows in your area are below 45 degrees, we will not offer a refund or replacement in case of cold damage.

Liability

Some plant species we sell have the potential to hurt you or your pets. By purchasing from us, you agree not to hold us liable for any damages.
