Received as C. haseltoniana f. gigantea, though field number databases record this field number as C. haseltoniana x gigantea, stating “mostly intermediate form, extremely robust stem, long yellow-white to black spines”. Regardless, C. haseltoniana is considered a synonym of C. gigantea. Minor aesthetic damage.
